    This role is tasked with transforming our end user experience by fully integrating the latest technology in personal productivity, unified communication and productivity tools.  This candidate will be hands-on, working directly with their team daily with a goal of increasing productivity and digitizing the workplace. They will also need to have the technical background in order to continue to discover and implement new and ever changing technologies. The ideal candidate will harness their passion and energy into an overall enhanced end user experience. 


    Key Job Functions

     

    • The End User Systems Manager is responsible for providing software deployment design and implementation support, patch management, operating system deployment, software/hardware deployments, imaging of OS
    • Automate continuous integration and deployment processes
    • Define, measure, and meet key operational metrics including performance, incidents, and chronic problems, traffic and conversion, etc.
    • Lead design and development of application components that are standards based, high performance, highly available, comply with operational standards and procedures.
    • Lead the design of the integration solution with external/internal customers.
    • Lead design and development of End User Services and Collobaration efforts using Microsoft SCCM and other related Microsoft products.
    • Deployment, installation and administration of Microsoft Office Products and Office365 tools and services.
    • Able to build task-sequences and use AD, GPO, Policy Pak for deployment and management of devices while maintaining secure sustainable best practices
    • Provide technical expertise, guidance and strategic recommendations to other IT groups on SCCM capabilities and use cases.
    • Investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues and actively purse mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to reoccurrences
    • Relies on a working knowledge of standard (Windows) client platform administration, configuration, rights management and file access in order to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.  
    • Developing the End User service and deployment strategy for Personal Productivity Tools, Collaboration Tool and Unified Communication services, with annual updates and an updated technology plan in conjunction with Enterprise Infrastructure team
    • Responsible for End User and Unified Communication tools.
    • Manage Tier 3 incident resolution within the environment, facilitating collaboration among other infrastructure and business service support teams as required. 
    • Interpret business requirements, create technical artifacts, and determine the most efficient/appropriate solution design
    • Understand the business and customer needs to introduce technical solutions
    • Provide support for escalated issues on the End User Systems
    • Mentor other engineers and groom them into future leaders.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    Education   

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required

     

    Minimum Experience  

     

    • Minimum 8 years of related experience
    • Expert knowledge of Windows Operating System Environments
    • Cloud computing experience operating large cloud based environments for - Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or other large scale cloud deployment.

     

    Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

      

    • Candidate must be self-motivated and highly professional with exceptional verbal and written communications skills
    • Extensive experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of SCCM Enterprise environment
    • Extensive experience in Powershell scripting
    • Experience with desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting.
    • Experience managing an OS image for large corporate environments
    • Development and On-going improvements of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies
    • Experience with Citrix XenDesktop & XenApp
    • Experience with deploying AWS Workspaces.
    • Knowledge of all areas of IT Operations including architectural concepts, project management, product lifecycle management, information management, incident management, change management and infrastructure environments, tools and processes
    • Knowledge of management concepts, practices and techniques. Ability to promote a team environment and manage remote staff effectively
    • A proven track record of technical experience with Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Exchange Online Protection,  Microsoft Skype for Business Server, Microsoft Skype for Business Online, Microsoft Outlook 2013/2016, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 are a must. 
    • Strong Ex with Active Directory, Citrix, Directory Wizards Unity Sync, Symantec Enterprise Vault, and, SCCM. SCOM and VeriSign certificates are a plus
    • Demonstrated experience working with Agile methodology
    • Experience and background in a large, fast paced global organization is preferred
    • Business Operations, Disaster Recovery and/or Business Continuity preferred.
    • Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    • Possess excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment in order to meet assigned deadlines
    • Work collaboratively with other teams; QA, Dev, EA, InfoSec, and others.
