    Job Information

    Do you have an interest in DevOps methodologies, software architecture design and cloud computing?  Our engineering positions are responsible for the development and implementation of cloud applications, systems, and processes. The candidate will need to be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced team environment.


    Key Job Functions

    • Building and managing Red Hat Linux systems and Windows systems in Amazon Web Services environments
    • Automate infrastructure in Amazon Web Services with terraform and Chef
    • Build Teamcity build configurations to orchestrate provision and deployment of a large scale enterprise web application
    • Write unit tests and integration tests with chef-spec and in-spec
    • Identify engineering defects in the existing code base and constantly improve the code quality
    • Automate monitoring tools to monitor system health and reliability to support an uptime goal of 99.9%
    • Automate disaster recovery plans to support the applications that run in multiple availability zones and cross regions in AWS
    • Automate backup and restoration processes and test the recovery of those backups on a regular basis
    • Actively support operational teams and other stakeholder teams to maintain business continuation and maintain costumer satisfaction




    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or in a related technical field required


    Minimum Experience  


    • Minimum 7 years of related experience


    Specialized Knowledge & Skills     



    • Minimum 3 years of experience of Linux administration, including system designs, configurations, maintenance, upgrades and administration.
    • Experience with AWS technologies (S3, EC2, ELB, Subnet/AZ, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch)
    • Experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of both open source licensed and Commercial-off-the-Shelf software tools.
    • Can demonstrate strong programming skills using a preferred language, for example, python, ruby, java, nodejs, or similar
    • Experience with CI/CD tools including Teamcity or Jenkins
    • Experience with CI/CD utilities including Bitbucket, Nexus, Consul and Jfrog
    • Experience with CM tools. Chef is preferred
    • Experience with infrastructure automation testing following CI/CD practices including liniting with foodcritic and rubocop, unit test with chef-spec and integration test with in-spec
    • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools including splunk and CloudWatch
    • Experience creating cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
    • General understanding of Java and related tools (maven, flyway, tomcat and EMS)
    • Ability to perform defect root cause analysis and provide resolution
    • Ability to use a variety of open source technologies and cloud services
    • Scripting experience with shell or python or ruby
    • Excellent user interface / interpersonal / written and verbal communication skills
    • The ability to operate in a team environment consisting of both internal and external members, co-workers and customers
