    The Systems Analyst has hands-on experience in analysis and test execution and is able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and changing business and technical environment. They are an eager learner who enjoys the challenge of delivering results amid changes, uncertainty or ambiguity.

    Key Job Functions

     

    • The System Analyst will be a bridge between Business and technology analyzing business and technical issues that arise in End to End and System to System testing as well as help define solutions.
    • Design Testing approaches for testing external interfaces, including performance and End-to End testing scenarios.
    • Support business and technical analysis sessions for defects and enhancement development efforts.
    • Provide issue management for end-user problems and ensure a consistent high-level of responsiveness and customer care
    • Support GSE and Third-Party Integration activities, to include test management, defect triage, solution recommendation and prioritization.
    • Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders using data to clearly describe a problem or solution.
    • Employ collaborative techniques as well as analytical and problem-solving skills across the delivery team.
    • Balance competing priorities in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
    • Build effective partnerships with external and internal delivery and architecture teams, operation teams, and multiple stakeholders across the project
    • Create test cases, user acceptance criteria, process maps, data mapping and formal test documentation.
    • Develop and make recommendations to improve the technical solution

    QUALIFICATIONS

     

    Education   

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience

     

    Minimum Experience  

     

    • Minimum 5 years of related work experience
    • Past experience working in or for a consulting organization a plus   

     

    Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

      

    • Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
    • Good understanding of RDBMS concepts, especially with Oracle database environment is must.
    • Understanding of Event-Driven Service Oriented Architectures, external interface standards and File Transfer Protocols.
    • Strong hands-on skills in SQL development and be able to create ad-hoc queries to meet business needs, as well as working knowledge of Unix and XMLSpy.
    • Good knowledge of XML and ability to transform data into XML.
    • Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow through
    • Experience working with large data sets, producing and clearly explaining data analysis findings to clients and managers.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
    • Securitization background not required but considered an asset.
    • Knowledge of Mortgage Industry data standards (e.g.: MISMO, UDP) considered an asset.
    • Experience with Agile project delivery methods, tools and concepts.
    • Strong communication and team skills.
