    Job Information

    CSS has an opportunity for an energetic self-starter Business Intelligence Analyst to join the fast paced CSS Business Intelligence team.  The Business Intelligence Analyst has experience with the system development lifecycle and solution analysis in order to make an immediate impact in the delivery of the Common Securitization Platform, a highly visible development effort in the Financial Services industry. The Business Intelligence Analyst has hands-on experience in analysis, metrics and Agile project execution; and able to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and changing business and technical environment. They are an eager learner who enjoys the challenge of delivering results amid changes, uncertainty or ambiguity.


    Key Job Functions

    • Review and validate customer data as it is collected
    • Drive the implementation of technology, visualizations and process solutions from concept to completion.
    • Lead business and technical analysis sessions to support new and enhancement development efforts.
    • Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
    • Review customer files to ensure integrity of data collection and utilization
    • Communicate with architects, agile delivery teams, and multiple stakeholders across the project
    • Create user stories, user acceptance criteria, epics, process maps, data mapping and formal requirements documentation.
    • Monitor analytics and metrics results
    • Provide business analysis and support for the project team throughout the system development lifecycle.
    • Identify risks, dependencies and constraints while developing specific plans to mitigate or address these concerns.
    • Employ collaborative techniques as well as analytical and problem-solving skills across the delivery team.
    • Ensure and assist in achieving and meeting project deadlines and schedules. On some projects, this may include the creation of these deadlines and schedules.
    • Support client UAT activities, to include defect triage, solution recommendation and prioritization.





    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required


    Minimum Experience  


    • Minimum 3 years of related business analysis experience.
    • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. CSS does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.


    Specialized Knowledge & Skills     


    • Strong problem solving capabilities
    • Ability to determine what data trends mean. Being able to analyze the data is crucial.
    • Ability to identify data trends and recommend solutions for creating
    • Extensive knowledge of business processes, strategic planning, and systems architecture; Mortgage industry experience is a plus
    • Securitization and or Secondary Mortgage background not required but considered an asset.
    • Working knowledge of Agile project delivery methods, tools and concepts.
    • Highly organized, motivated and solution oriented.
    • Well-rounded interpersonal skills and experience working with cross functional teams.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a fluid environment with competing deadlines.
