Common Securitization Solutions (CSS) is seeking an experienced Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst to join our team of talented professionals. This is a full-time remote opportunity. 

 

CSS built and operates the largest and most advanced mortgage securitization platform in the world, supporting the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS) of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Job Information

CSS is seeking a talented, energetic, and engaged Senior Analyst, Governance, Risk and Compliance to join the team. The ideal candidate is analytical with excellent critical thinking and communication skills who enjoys collaborating with the team. The position will focus on compliance operations, including control testing, client assessments, documentation submissions and program support. The analyst will have the opportunity to participate in other special projects as appropriate. Managing the Company’s compliance operations is critical to supporting the business, and this role will play a key part in ensuring a well-controlled and compliant environment at CSS. 


Key Job Functions

 

  • Compliance Operations—Facilitate internal stakeholder process to respond to annual and ongoing client assessments, quarterly scorecard assessments, internal policy reviews, external surveys, by organizing, analyzing and submitting  responses, identifying and tracking follow ups, and communicating with stakeholders.
  • First Line Controls Testing – Execute control testing—review and analyze control effectiveness, compile results, and provide recommendations.
  • Ethics—Support Ethics program training, outreach and conflicts administration
  • Governance – Assist in supporting Board resolutions, minutes and materials assembly
  • Special Projects – Handle special projects based on departmental needs, also intended as growth opportunities such as creating presentations, presenting to stakeholders, and assisting with new initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education   

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.

 

Minimum Experience  

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience--business analyst, risk or operations analyst or similar.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. CSS does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.

 

Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Detail-oriented, organized and quality conscious approach to analyzing and checking assessment and other responses, and reports.
  • Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills, including ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Confident and ambitious, taking initiative to understand what is necessary to solve the problem.
  • Build and maintain effective, highly collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word and Power Point.

Pay Range $109,250 to $125,500

CSS’s pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.  CSS offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
